Matthew Morgan and the Lost Brigade are just now wrapping up their first tour of Northeast Ohio with a show at the Buzzbin Shop in Canton where they were joined by label mates The Future Laureates and a show at the Massillon Museum (Massillon, OH). The tour was great fun and both shows were well attended.

MMLB gained accolades with a very favorable review of the museum show by David Crookston. Crookston is a retired and well known arts writer/reviewer with The Independent newspaper in Massillon, OH. The review and Dave’s bio are available here:

Cool News #2) Also, in March MMLB was nominated for three 2013 Independent Music Channel awards for; best album “Found”, best alternative music video “Elephant Man”, and best folk music video “Quite Contrary”.

Jane Thatcher

Jane Thatcher is a writer, a performer, a musician, and a teacher. She has put out three full-length albums and a live EP since her first release at the age of 16 as well as a host of music videos and projects. She makes music and teaches in Denver where she is close to her family and the insistent blue of the Western sky. Jane is working on new music, new recordings, and new tour dates with her Denver band.
