Ellis Clark: Ellis Clark has been a longtime fixture of the Chicago music community working nationally as a performing musician with his band Ellis Clark & The Big Parade, as a songwriter for himself or other artists, a recording artist and record producer. As a teenager he was a founding member of the power-pop-punk pioneer band Epicycle releasing several singles and a full length LP by the time he was nineteen. Later, he co-founded and fronted Social Act who received heavy radio play, toured nationally and released numerous albums of original material. Now, with Ary Jeebie, Amazing Heeby Jeebies garage rock band front woman, he is realizing a longtime ambition to host a George Harrison Birthday Tribute Concert at Martyrs’ February 25th, 2017. This will be a night not to be missed which will have many special guests including: Mars Williams of The Psychedelic Furs, Carla Prather of Poi Dog Pondering, Phil Angotti, Aethereal, Gunnar Cleemann on tour from Denmark and many more! In the past, Ellis hosted (to capacity audiences) Beatles & Who tribute nights at The Mayne Stage Theatre in Rogers Park. www.EllisClark.com
