ABOUT

Chicago, IL – February 15, 2013 – Chicago-based artist, Jeff Brown announces his album release show set for Friday, February 15, 2013 at 8:30pm CST at the Hard Rock Cafe (63 West Ontario, Chicago, IL) with fellow Chicago artists Matthew Morgan & the Lost Brigade, Tree, and Little Light. Event is All Ages. Tickets are $10. Special guests include Mars Williams, world-renowned saxophonist with the Psychedelic Furs, who contributed to Brown’s song “Grace”.

Jeff Brown finds his place in the local scene as a musician-turned-music industry lawyer-turned-musician who grew up with his ears glued to Iron Maiden records but has a soft spot in his heart for delicate love songs. With his debut album Last Chance, the result is indie folk/pop music rooted in gentle contemplative musings of trailblazers like Carole King and James Taylor with modern touches similar to Damien Rice and Ryan Adams.

An adept performer, Jeff has toured locally and nationally. His stage presence, sense of humor and above all the passion with which he shares his ideas with others make him a singer-songwriter that touches people’s hearts. From small, intimate cafés to large venues like Chicago’s Bottom Lounge, Double Door, and now the Hard Rock Cafe, Jeff’s music will give Chicagoans on Valentine’s Day weekend a reason to try love again.

If you have heard CLEEMANN, you remember the wonder, and if you are new to CLEEMANN, the time to hear him is now.

CLEEMANN is a Copenhagen / Chicago based one-man-project centered around singer, multi-instrumentalist and musical director Gunnar Cleemann. Cleemanns songcraft reflect a low-voiced side of the D.I.Y. spirit. Live Cleemann performs solo-acoustic or in a band set up according to the nature of the venue. In live shows, he adapts musicians and delivery depending on the situation in order to be true to the moment. The audience picks up on the excitement that this is a one-of-a-kind performance that can’t be recreated. Rich in emotion from all ends of the spectrum, his live shows and music look to be vital, appealing and never the same twice.
